FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: 5 Players Who Deserve A January Ratings Boost
2. Paul Pogba - Juventus
Although Paul Pogba has received many accolades in his brief career, such as being named Europe's best young player last year, perhaps the greatest praise that could be offered to him is that he is Sir Alex Ferguson's greatest mistake. Ferguson's decision to allow the youngster to depart Manchester United on a free transfer appears a calamitous error given United's continued midfield struggles. Manchester United's lost is Juventus' gain, for Pogba's brilliant play has led to him becoming a huge favourite of the Bianconeri faithful, who have dubbed him "Paul the Octopus" for the way that his long legs move as he works tirelessly for the team. A French defensive midfielder with telescopic legs, its easy to compare Pogba to Les Blues legend Patrick Vieira, but even he didn't have Pogba's taste for the spectacular, demonstrated by a frequency of fabulous long range strikes that defies probability. Pogba really does have all the attributes of a complete midfield player, which is why I think his current rating of 79 scarcely does him justice.
