FIFA 14 vs PES 14 - 9 Reasons Why FIFA 14 Will Win The War

1. FIFA Has More Leagues, Players & Clubs

What the PES vs FIFA debate really boils down to in the end is licencing. FIFA is always going to have the edge in those regards purely because of EA's continual success in signing deals with clubs and leagues to secure the rights to officially feature them in their games. Liverpool became the recent club to sign an agreement for EA to become their "official video game partner" while the publishers already have a number of other 'partner clubs' signed up from previous deals. These include Manchester City, Tottenham Hotspur, Valencia, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, Olympique Lyonnais and Paris Saint-Germain, all of whom will have their official likenesses and stadia represented in FIFA 14. PES meanwhile has the UEFA Champions and Europa League once more, along with many teams including clubs in the Primera Division of the Argentinean league, while Manchester United remain the only officially licensed English club in-game. While FIFA has Over 600 clubs, 30 leagues and 16,000 players, PES boasts teams such as 'North London', 'West Midlands Village', 'London FC', 'Merseyside Blue' and, more comically of all, Swearcle. Prizes for guessing the identity of each of those sides. And that, along with all the other reasons presented here, is why FIFA Will Always Be Superior. Do you agree?
