FIFA 15: 10 Brand New Features To Make It The Best Ever
3. Create A Stadium
The FIFA franchise has a long list of fully-licensed stadiums from across all of Europe's major leagues, with the likes of Real Madrid's Bernabeu, Paris Saint-Germain's Parc des Princes and Manchester United's Old Trafford all featuring. But there are so many notable omissions. Tottenham Hotspur have no White Hart Lane, Everton no Goodison Park, and worse still Barcelona no Camp Nou. In place of these are generic and fictitious stadiums such as 'Ivy Lane' and 'Euro Park'. Seeing the likes of Everton and Barcelona play there instantly ruins the authenticity of a match-day experience. Getting licenses for all the world's major stadia is clearly a mammoth chore but there is an easier way around it. Create a Stadium. Let the fans lovingly recreate White Hart Lane with a tool kit that allows them to choose all the fine details from the advertising hoardings and size of the stands through to the colour of the seats, the capacity and name of the stadium itself. Gamers could save these stadiums and simply select them before kick-off in exhibition mode so that playing as Spurs would be a more realistic experience. It's such a simple idea we can't believe EA haven't thought of it yet.
