FIFA 15: 10 Features We Can Expect To See Transferred From 2014 World Cup Game
2. Better Goalkeepers
Another notable difference in the official gameplay trailer was the improvements of the AI goalkeepers, which is a welcome relief. Every year improvements are made to the goalkeepers in the game but every year there are still huge problems with them, the next stage of improvements is unlikely to erase the issues altogether but it marks the next step in the development of the franchise title. The good news is that the goalkeepers have made vast improvements over the last five years and they will continue to do so, hopefully at some point in the future we will be rewarded for our patience with goalkeepers in the game that are able to complete simple tasks. EA's next edition of the game will bring more improvements with it and reduce our frustration levels, we hope. Thankfully with the modifications elsewhere in the game to set-pieces, aerial balls and training, we should see some improvements with the goalkeepers. However, the one concern is the real ball physics - if keepers in the real world complain about the balls we use, how do our virtual shot-stoppers have any hope? We predict an increase in the amount of screamers.
