FIFA 15: 10 Features We Can Expect To See Transferred From 2014 World Cup Game

10. Response Dribbling

We've seen a lot of improvements to the dribbling mechanics in FIFA over the past few years and the latest instalment is no different, as EA introduce what they are calling 'response dribbling'. Although the improvements to this area have been decent over the years, there are still some big frustrations, and hopefully, this new format erases many of the problems we've grown accustomed to. EA says the adjustment allows greater control of the ball when turning at speed at every possible angle, gives better ball control when the left trigger is held when you attempt to beat an opponent and makes it more satisfying to beat your man. They've also thrown new flicks, dribbles and a Brazilian skill move to the mix, which can only be an improvement. How this will work exactly is not clear as of yet, but it will probably take some getting used to when you first pick up the controller to play the game. However, when you get used to the new format it will hopefully be a much better experience for all players, provided the learning curve and rewards and correctly balanced.
