FIFA 14 Rating: 90 After the Frenchman missed out on what many had believed to be his best shot at a Ballon Dor earlier this year, his incredible form at Bayern Munich came to a rather abrupt halt. Franck Ribéry racked up only 22 league appearances for Bayern last season; this lack of consistent play surely stifled the wingers form further. Ribéry has certainly declined in quality under Guardiolas philosophy, often going missing in huge games and finally starting to look his age. Indeed, at 31-years-old Ribéry will soon be on his athletic decline bad news for a player whose game is so heavily reliant on his explosive pace. Injury meant that Ribéry was a no-show for Didier Deschamps French side at the World Cup and after the tournament he retired from international football. Its impossible to deny that Ribéry is a quality player, but his 90 rating on FIFA 14 makes him one of the best players in the game. The leaked ratings suggest that the Frenchmans rating has been downgraded. This makes sense as he certainly isnt the player he was two seasons ago. It would be overly harsh for Ribéry to be downgraded by any more though. He still showed flashes of brilliance last year and his exceptional passing and crossing is unlikely to decline as quickly as his explosive acceleration.
