FIFA 15: 10 Players Who Need Downgrading After World Cup
3. Hulk 84
The failings of Brazil at the offensive end are currently being pinned on Fred but we believe that Hulk was equally ineffective and was more hyped up than the striker before the World Cup. There was a stage a few of seasons ago where it was believed Hulk was going to leave Porto where he had spent 5-seasons and make a huge impact at one of the major footballing leagues. Instead, Hulk prudently prioritised financial gain and went to Russian club Zenit St. Petersburg; cashing in a reputed 5-million annual salary. While playing in the Russian Premier League Hulks career has taken a nose-dive and he may never play for Brazil again. With all his flair and offensive ability we have seen in the past, Hulk appeared to represent everything that was good about Brazilian football. However, playing in front of tens of thousands of ardent fans willing him on, the man named after the Incredible Hulk would be better described as The Hapless Hulk. Not only did he look impotent when attacking but his lack of defensive responsibility combined with Brazils marauding defensive style cost his team dearly. It is highly telling that the winger - rated 84 on FIFA 14 - was replaced by a defensive midfielder rated 80 in Ramires (who looked much better than him). Why, oh why wasnt Lucas Moura included in the team? Suggested Rating: 80
