FIFA 15: 10 Over-Rated Players Who Need Downgrading

4. Fernando Torres (Chelsea) €“ 82

Since his record breaking move to Chelsea back in 2011 for a reported £50-million, Torres€™ rating has gradually been chipped away at like the slow erosion of a sea-cliff. Many make the fair argument that the Spaniard€™s rating should have entered the realm of the sub-80s two years ago. El Niño€™s time at Chelsea has been defined by his clumsy finishing, hesitancy and self-frustration and the performances of the modern Fernando Torres in no way warrant his 82-rating. Continuing to value a forward who has scored just four times in 27-league-appearances as being one of the better players in the game is one of the biggest head scratching decisions made by EA. If a player€™s past achievements count for so much, consistency means that men like David Beckham, Thierry Henry and Ronaldinho should still have an 88+ rating.
