3. Ashley Cole (Chelsea) 85
His 85-rating makes Ashley Cole the best left back in FIFA 14. Is he the best left back in the world? Ashley Cole isnt even the best left back at Chelsea (thanks for that one John Lennon) as César Azpilicueta has shown himself to be far more effective in the position for most of the season. Ashley has enjoyed a long and successful career at the top clubs in the Premiership but he no longer has the pace or athleticism to be an 85-rated defender. If Cole were still deserving of an 85 he wouldnt be in a dog-fight with Luke Shaw and Leighton Baines for who boards the plane in the summer indeed, many believe Baines (rated 83) should be treated as Englands first choice left back.
