Thirty-yards out, finesse, power andback of the net; that was FIFA 10 in a nutshell, and frankly, it was frustratingly easy. The EA Sports powers-that-be clearly picked up on this and ever since that magical time of curlers into the tightest corners of the goal, it has become increasingly hard to bend it like Beckham. On FIFA 15, however, finesse shots are well and truly back and, further to that, theres been added graphics to the physics of the ball. So the next time you turn a defender, open up your body and sink a finesse beauty from outside the box, wait for the slow-motions replays and watch that ball as it spins and twists in a way you only thought the professionals could make it. It's a big step forward for making players actually enjoy shooting again, and it's not quite as easy, or as hard as past games: in short, the balance is a lot more finely tuned.
