FIFA 15: 10 Things EA Think You Don't Notice

10. That EA Hate Pythagoras

Most of you probably hated learning about the old Greek guy and his triangles in school. But triangles are amazing: they are what make the molecular structure of a diamond so strong, they are the shape that attract us to one another and, most importantly, they are the shape that facilitate possession based football. Anybody who enjoys the short passing game though, will be fully aware that FIFA have never produced a title that brings that particular brand of football into the game. It must be that the developers still harbour an old grudge against their maths teachers because they continue to make the same, quick counterattack by the speedy winger before finessing the ball around the stranded goalkeeper, game year after year... after year. Yes EA, we noticed that we are still scoring the same goals now with Ronaldo and Messi as we were 10 years ago with Thierry Henry - namely, without stringing together more than 5 passes in a row.
