FIFA 15: 15 Ratings EA Sports Have Got Completely Wrong

13. Juan Mata (85)

That age-old footballing cliché "it's a game of two halves" was practically created for Juan Mata. The midfielder endured and enjoyed two vastly different experiences last season - spending half of the campaign on Chelsea's bench and the other half scoring goals for Manchester United. Signed by United in the January transfer window and rescued from the fringes of Stamford Bridge, Mata's rating could so easily have gone up or down in FIFA 15 given his topsy-turvy term. In the end it was the latter, with the Spain star's score dropping two points from last year's 87, which we feel is harsh. Mata started only two full games for Chelsea during the first half of the 2013-14 season and was deemed surplus to requirements by manager Jose Mourinho. But upon moving to United in the winter transfer window, he scored six goals from 15 appearances and showed he is very much a world class player. And so we feel his rating should have remained as it was because, when you weigh everything up, he has neither excelled nor waned over the course of the last 12 months.
