FIFA 15 Ultimate Team: Predicting 10 Most Expensive Players

6. Franck Ribéry

Predicted Cost: 800,000 Franck Ribéry€™s valuation in FIFA 14 is interesting because €“ generally speaking €“ it is the players who are capable of scoring an inordinate amount of goals who are extortionately priced while the players tasked with supporting these goal scoring machines are normally far more affordable. This is certainly not the case with Ribéry who €“ despite his strength being his support play €“ will normally cost in excess of 1,000,000. With superb dribbling statistics (93 dribbling, 92 acceleration, 5-star skill moves) combined with passing and distribution (87 short passing, 86 crossing), the Frenchman is the type of player who can take virtually any Ultimate Team to a whole new level. Bayern Munich€™s winger would appear higher on this list but it seems likely that Ribéry will be marginally more affordable in FIFA 15€™s Ultimate Team mode. Despite a solid 2013/14 season in the Bundesliga, the winger€™s stock has dropped in recent months. A tepid showing in the Champions League against Real Madrid combined with scandal and his non-appearance in the World Cup due to a back injury (which is of course not his fault) mean that Ribéry isn€™t in the same position he was in a year ago. It is also worth noting that at 31-years-old, the Frenchman will soon be on his athletic decline which could lead to a lower rating in FIFA 15€™s January updates.
