Online Friendlies were a brilliant addition to the game, allowing you to keep track of your matches against your friends and awarding championships along with this. Finally, there could be no argument as to who was better as you could use history to your defence. Now it's time for the next step, this much be transferred to Ultimate Team so we can see the same benefits there. Currently, the play a friend option is just treated as an individual match every time you play, much like FIFA Online used to be like. This needs revamping. We hope FIFA has already got this planned for FIFA 15 but if they don't, then they need to. They can transfer the same system from standard online to Ultimate Team, allowing for us to keep track of our results against our friends and work towards titles. More importantly, work towards bragging rights that will last until the next edition of FIFA. A full years worth of bragging rights are a stake here. Is there anything more important than getting one over your best friend? In gaming terms, I don't believe there is or ever will be.
