You could comfortably throw Bastian Schweinsteiger into the same category as Rooney right now. The dominant German midfielder has seen far better days, and really hasn't made the impact at Manchester United he was expected to make. He's still a good player, but I don't think he's proven himself as a world class footballer based on this season's performances. The 31-year-old is still a classy midfielder but on FIFA 16 he's currently level with Kevin De Bruyne, Paul Pogba, and Arturo Vidal, three immense talents making headlines across the continent. Schweinsteiger is just two marks away from being the best central midfield player in the world, yet he doesn't start every week in Manchester United's team. That doesn't make sense. A drop closer to 83 is needed.
