Diego Costa is the ultimate Premier League pantomime villain. If he's playing against you, you're going to despise him. If he's playing in your team, you'll love him. But now that the goals have dried up, he's beginning to look more and more like a petulant child as opposed to a world-beating striker. Everything he touched last season seemed to fly into the back of the net. I'll even admit that I love his 'clever' style of play, winding up opponents to breaking point. He's playing one big mental game, and the likes of Arsenal's Gabriel quite simply lost the battle when he flicked out at the Spanish striker. He's pure entertainment, pure rage on a football field, but he's bagged just 3 goals in 13 games this season for Chelsea. Was the 86 rating premature?
