FIFA 16 Ratings: 11 Most Shocking Player Upgrades
The ratings are out, and there are some surprises... Obviously.
EA Sports have revealed their top 50 Ultimate Team stars for FIFA 16, and as usual, every time ratings are released there will be raised eyebrows. It's essentially all down to personal opinions. Some players have been jumped up on the back of one good season, others have drastically dropped after a barren campaign, while there are some who manage to maintain their lofty position based on past reputation. Each season the ratings tend to remain fairly close to the predecessor game, with EA doing a decent job of avoiding knee-jerk boosts, yet still they are known to make decisions that not everyone would agree with. A big fee transfer is usually good for an extra notch or two on the player's overall rating, while media hype can always have a bearing on the perceptions of a player. If EA based their ratings purely on hype then you'd be selling your Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo cards for a Harry Kane card, but he doesn't cut the game's top 50 quite yet. So here are the 10 most shocking confirmed upgrades in the game so far. They're not necessarily the wrong decisions, but there's a surprising aspect about every one of them.
