FIFA 17: 10 Overpowered Players Who Will Dominate

3. Lionel Messi

It's hardly a surprise to see Lionel Messi up near the top of this list, but it may shock some that he only comes in at third. There's a simple reason for that, and it boils down to that jostling mechanic that has become such a pivotal part of FIFA's gameplay. In that respect, Messi lags behind some others.

The man's physical stat is only 61, and his defending is at 26. It's maybe futile to complain about those when others skyrocket though, overall Messi is obviously one of the better players in the game. Key to successful use of Messi will be flying past the opposition, the diminutive Argentinian has an amazing 96 dribbling stat.

As a left-footed star playing on the right wing, he's also superb for cutting inside and shooting with his stronger foot. Should that be a tactic (and let's face it, it has to be), there are few who can shoot with the accuracy Messi can in FIFA 17.

The best dribbler by a country mile, Messi's new blonde locks won't be the only thing dazzling teams you play against.
