2. Jackson Martinez

You wouldn’t blame Jackson Martinez if he was beginning to question his career decisions. Just two years ago, the Columbian was one of the most fearsome strikers in Europe, having bagged 94 goals in just three seasons with F.C Porto.

Linked with a host of clubs across the continent, he ended up plumping for Atletico Madrid, signing in a 35 million euro deal.

The weight of expectation proved too much, however, and he failed to repay the club’s faith in him. He mustered just three goals in 22 appearances, struggling to adapt to Diego Simeone’s intense, high-tempo game and was flogged to Guangzhou Evergrande in a £31 million deal after just six months. After three goals in 10 appearances, the surly Columbian has announced a desire to return to Europe, and will have been disheartened by Juventus’ decision to ignore his request and fork out for Gonzalo Higuain instead.

The 29-year-old’s career is sinking fast, and his new FIFA rating is sure to reflect that.

FIFA 16 Rating: 84
