Quaresma is an undoubtedly impressive footballer, but were it not for his country's Euro 2016 triumph, he would perhaps have been remembered as one of Portugal's nearly-men. He's a similar age to Cristiano Ronaldo and also plays as a winger, and has often been unfairly portrayed as existing in the looming shadow of CR7.
