5. There's A New MLS Presentation Package

First up is the brand spanking new attention to detail when it comes to Major League Soccer. Up until now, you could be forgiven for completely ignoring MLS (especially when it's nigh-on impossible to get job offers from anyone outside North America, Australia or Mexico when in Career Mode), but those excuses are invalid now.

EA's fresh coat of paint across presentation generally extends to the United States. LA Galaxy's StubHub Center stadium has even become the latest arena to be added to the lineup, joining Seattle's CenturyLink Field and Vancouver's BC Place. The official MLS website even excitedly hyped this up like a giddy child who had previously still been playing FIFA 13 until now.

Now, Martin Tyler and Alan Smith will talk in-depth about North American soccer, rather than glossing over matches with the same tired phrases about MLS being a 'relatively new concept'. If this seems like a small change, then consider those poor MLS fans who have been neglected by FIFA for years.
