FIFA 18: 9 Things We Already Know
2. Alex Hunter Is Customisable This Year
It's understandable why EA chose not to let players create their own Alex Hunter from scratch in FIFA 17. The narrative was tightly focused, relying on Hunter's childhood and London roots, so it was brave of the developers to stray away from the 'Create-A-Character' idea that video games have become obsessed with in recent times.
Still, it would've been nice to at least choose some superficial hairstyles, tattoos and clothing for Hunter, rather than being helpless to customise anything. Good news though, because The Journey 2 looks like it'll have those who can't get enough of tweaking appearances covered. At last, you can give Hunter some bleach blonde locks should you desire.
What clothing Alex wears in training will also be left up to the player, which is pretty exciting. This is all cosmetic, of course, but it is nice to have much more freedom to tailor The Journey to each individual player's needs.
