FIFA 19: 10 Changes From Last Year's Game You Need To Know

1. New Ultimate Team Tweaks

It would've been easy for EA to sit back with a fruity cocktail over the summer, leave Ultimate Team as it was and watch those cash tills cha-ching over and over again. The fact they haven't is admirable.

There are some FUT tweaks in 19. Firstly, 'Division Rivals' replaces the old online seasons mode, and it caters more to that player who's not necessarily crap but isn't exactly whipping the CPU on Legendary either. It's a mid-level experience, sitting right below FUT Champions and a lot less daunting.

Secondly, 'Player Pick Packs' give you more control over which players you end pulling from a card stack. This is expected to go hand-in-hand with the new 'Pack Odds' system, one EA haven't gone into detail on yet. Who cares when they're evolving one of FIFA's most popular modes?

Along with Champions League integration, new cut scenes and brand new FUT Icons, there's lots to be taken with in 19.
