FIFA 19: 10 Stadiums That Need To Be In The Game
1. Tottenham Hotspur Stadium (Tottenham Hotspur)
Spurs haven't had a bad season at Wembley, but there's been a cold, commercial feel to their campaign at the national stadium compared to the familiar comfort of White Hart Lane before it. Tottenham fans will soon have the chance to settle into a place they can call home though; their new stadium is set to be ready for the start of the 2018-2019 season.
Right now, the venue's working title is the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, and it'll remain that way until Chairman Daniel Levy finds a sponsorship deal.
The Spurs website links to another mini-site that shows an artist's impression of what the stadium might be like when it opens. It looks like a mix of White Hart Lane's imposing tightness and Wembley itself. That's not a bad thing, and it'll be exciting to play in the building once EA get the chance to render it for FIFA 19.
That's crucial this year, because playing in Wembley for another season won't cut it for Spurs fans if their heroes are already making history elsewhere. FIFA, more than ever, relies on being bang up to date.
