FIFA 19: 10 Things EA Should Steal From PES

4. Full Team Customisation

PES 2018
Konami

This is a bit of a funny one, because it's technically only available due to Konami's relative lack of licenses compared to EA. Still, it saves players the monotony of seeing every team wear the same kit season after season without any notion of change.

In PES 2018, it's possible to take any non-licensed team and completely change their strip, logo, manager, elements of their stadium and the banners fans take to matches. Excitingly, there are no limits on this, and that means you can be as offensive as you like, if that's your thing, and also reflect what's happening in your Master League.

Fancy seeing the fans back your new superstar striker? Then craft a banner with messages of support and watch it happen.

If EA are smart, they'll start allowing fans to tweak things like kits (maybe this is a feature gamers could unlock in Career Mode after a few seasons), the way their pitch looks and in-stadium banners. Why not? Though having lifelike licenses is cool, it grows tedious to see the same things a few months in. They'll just have to be careful not to give them so much freedom they don't need to bother with next year's update...
