FIFA 20: 10 Players That Will Be Criminally Underrated

10. Ruben Neves

Ruben Neves is one of the top 10 midfielders in the Premier League, and he plays for Wolverhampton Wanderers. Last season he, along with his teammates, took the league by storm and helped Wolves to an impressive seventh place finish.

Neves is, by some distance, the star player at Wolves. That's not to say Wolves don't have other quality players, just look at Diogo Jota, João Moutinho, and Patrick Cutrone, it's just that Neves is head and shoulders above the rest.

The 22-year old from Portuguese is a commanding box-to-box midfielder with a wicked striker on his right foot. Last year Neves scored four goals and made three assists, which don't sound like world-beater numbers, but it downplays the overall impact he has on his team. Neves could easily slot into the midfield at Chelsea, Arsenal, or Man United, and one has to wonder how much better he would be at a bigger team.

Last year his rating in FIFA 19 was an appropriate 81. That was a fair score for a player coming from the Championship, but he's more than earned a higher rating in FIFA 20. We reckon he's going to be around 82 but a more fitting rating would be 85.
