FIFA 20: 6 Rumours You Need To Know

4. The Camp Nou Is Coming Back?

Here's another delicious social media rumour, one that actually gained some traction last year.

Before FIFA 19's release, Twitter account @FifaCMNetwork alleged that Konami's PES would be holding onto the rights to Barcelona's Camp Nou stadium for one more year. After that, it'd be fair game again, and they said EA were in the hunt to snap it back up. That'd make sense, because it'd help FIFA 19's La Liga stadia licensing feel more complete.

The lack of Barca's ground stops playing in the Spanish top flight from being the authentic experience EA would surely like it to be. What if those folks on Twitter are right? What if PES 2020 won't have the impressive Catalan ground but FIFA 20 will? That'd be a huge coup for FIFA, and it'd make those Champions League nights under the lights feel even better.

Take this one with a pinch of salt though. Konami have started to be more aggressive in recent years with their licensing money, and they'll be hurting over losing the UEFA brands to FIFA last year. The last thing they'd want to do is let go of one of Europe's biggest and best arenas too.
