FIFA 20: 6 Rumours You Need To Know
5. Skill Moves Are Changing?
If most casual FIFA 19 players were being honest with themselves, they'd admit they barely use the Skill Moves suite at all. Sometimes, moves can be triggered accidentally, but they're hardly a prerequisite for playing and enjoying the game. In fact, once one figures out how to chain first-time passes together, they're borderline defunct for unlocking defences.
Maybe a change of control scheme will entice more players to bust out a 'Ball Hop', 'Rainbow Flick' or 'Sombrero' every now and then. According to Twitter account @fifaaddiction, EA are ready to move the Skill Move controls from the right stick to the main face buttons.
Old-schoolers, get ready. Button combos may be on the comeback trail.
The big question we have here is whether or not that'd solve the problem of accessibility for Skills in FIFA generally. If players have to hold L2/LT and press a fiddly combination on the main buttons, then it might prove to be a waste of time anyway.
