FIFA 20: 6 Rumours You Need To Know

2. New Licenses?

Over the years, EA Sports have shown themselves to be license hungry. You won't find any arguments against that approach here; the more, the merrier as far as FIFA regulars are concerned. Besides, it's not like the actual gameplay hasn't improved to back up that increased real-world flavour over the past decade.

According to YouTuber Bromo18 and gaming site Shuajota.com, the number of official licenses for leagues, teams and stadiums is about to increase come FIFA 20. Both sources claim we're about to get some new toys to play with, and this will be particularly pleasing to those who follow smaller English clubs and some of FIFA's lesser-used leagues.

For starters, Bromo18 says the Motorama National League could be incoming. That'd add another layer to the English leagues in the game. All in all, there'd be five divisions to choose from, and that's pretty special. Meanwhile, Shuajota says new packs and licenses for the Portuguese Liga NOS, Mexican Liga MX and Australian Hyundai A-League are on the horizon.

Realistically, this will probably be a few stadiums for each (Porto, Benfica and Sporting Lisbon, maybe?) as well as some true-to-life TV style intros for matches played in those countries. Every little helps when it comes to licenses.
