This one comes via YouTuber Bromo18 and his attention to detail when scouring EA's own 'Pitch Notes' press release on FIFA 20. There, they said that they'd "be looking to innovate" in areas like Career Mode and Pro Clubs. It's the first one that should catch any FIFA lover's eye first.

Could this finally, finally, finally be the year EA pay attention to all those comments on forums and social media, and deliver a big update to Career? We'd say people who have been buying the game annually for decades deserve it. Champions League integration and some lifeless cutscenes aside, there isn't much about Career Mode that has evolved lately.

Further down the press release, EA also again repeated that they wanted to spice some things up about Career Mode. Don't get your hopes up too much, but this might be the breakthrough millions of players who don't plough countless hours into Ultimate Team have been waiting for.
