One of the most impressive things about the implementation of Icon cards in Ultimate Team is the way EA has many to cater to a variety of countries with the legends the have decided to profile. While the most successful footballing nations, naturally tend to have more players included the franchise also includes talents from smaller, but equally passionate footballing states.

So, with that in mind, Iranian footballing legend Ali Daei is more than worthy of being immortalised in FIFA 21.

After all, Daei has scored more international goals than any other player in the history of the game, netting an eye-watering 109 times in 149 games in a 13-year tenure playing for his country.

Though most renowned for his international career, Daei also played five seasons in the German Bundesliga, including a season with Bayern Munich where he became the first Asian player to feature in a Champions League game.
