Whilst football is often referred to as 'the beautiful game', the more recent FIFA titles have been anything but.
Every year around August/September, shortly before the annual release, EA will release the entire database so that you can view every single player's ratings and stats. On some very special occasions, the fan backlash to a certain rating has been so strong that EA has actually changed some ratings and stats before the full launch.
There is never going to be a player where everyone universally agrees on the rating, but this list is here to point out the players likely to be rated higher than they deserve to be.
Whether it is because they play in the English Premier League (EA have a bad habit of paying more attention to this league than any other and overpowering their players), the player in question has a good reputation, or they have just been over-generous, you can count on the eggheads at EA to mess up.
For this list, I will also be using the head-to-head (H2H) ratings as they are more up to date than their original Ultimate Team release rating back in September.
Honourable mentions: Jordan Pickford, Christian Eriksen, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Djene Dakonam, Edin Dzeko and Roman Burki.
