5. Create-A-Club Is Great Fun
This year's Career Mode suite comes packed with the option to play as an "Authentic" team or create your own from scratch. This, as FIFA regulars will know, is something the community has been crying out to see for the longest time. It's finally here, people.
Designing kits, tweaking those generic stadiums (Ivy Lane has never looked so fresh) and even replacing a pre-exiting team in a league of your choice is great. The same goes for choosing your club's stature, squad experience and things like that. Want to begin as a titan of English football that's struggled through financial troubles and has to favour youth? Have at it.
EA nailed the fun factor that customisation brings, and they'll likely add in some more depth when the full game comes out. That should get 'Career Moders' out there needing a change of knickers; sticking "Kent Raiders" (this guy's rather NFL-esque creation) in the Championship just felt right.
Then, something pesky almost ruined everything...
