FIFA 22 Beta: 10 Hands-On First Impressions
3. Stadium Customisation Is A Start
No, FIFA 22 doesn't have a fully-fleshed 'Create-A-Stadium' feature. In the Beta, you cannot build your own home from the ground up. Instead, you're allowed to edit all of the generic stadia that EA has amassed over the years. Don't be hasty with the hate mail though, because this is a step forwards.
Picking Rangers, for example, and changing the seat colour to blue (to better represent their real-life Ibrox Stadium) gives the old Eastpoint Arena a literal fresh coat of paint that was solely needed. The trim on stands, the tunnel, the pitch and goal nets can all be customised to your liking too.
FUT players will recognise the bulk of these tools from FIFA 21.
It's magic that this has come over to Career Mode. Again, like with Create-A-Club, you'll sink a ton of time into getting everything right. There's even the option to change the in-stadium atmosphere and add chants, goal songs and what tune your side walks out to.
This is something EA can build on.
