FIFA 23: 10 Rumours You Need To Know
7. HyperMotion 2.0 Could Be A Game Changer
This seems to be one of the biggest features EA is touting this year.
The developers reportedly didn’t use tracking suits (those little ping pong balls) for players this time, and instead scanned actual football matches featuring top teams/clubs instead. What’s more, they did so in actual stadiums, which most rumour-mongers hope will add a layer of authenticity to the way top players move around the pitch.
Honestly, this could be exciting if it happens. Giving some clubs a totally unique flavour whether you’re playing as or against them sounds great, and so does any sort of improvement to the way players move around the pitch in the heat of battle.
EA's HyperMotion system screams marketing jargon and empty promises, but there's no denying that modern FIFA titles play a much smoother game of football than prior entries. Although it's hardly perfect, HyperMotion 2.0 will still strive for that sought-after on-the-park perfection gamers crave.
