2. Player Objectives
As part of the Team Dynamics side of the game, each player has their own objectives, and it will be the job of the player to reconcile those objectives with the needs and objectives of the team and club. Each player will come into the club with their own motivations: some will to hold down a place in the first team, others will want to play international football, some will simply want to improve their skills, whilst others want to be captain or take the penalties. How the player is allowed to meet those objectives has a massive influence on his morale and as manager, the player is charged with doing their utmost to keep all of the players happy. And importantly, unlike other Management sims which make it difficult to get around a player's objectives without him immediately becoming demoralised and a negative influence on the team, FIFA Manager 13 will allow the player to engage with the player, talking him into changing his own objectives and expectations to fit those of the team, and also opening the opportunity for specific negotiations like getting him on board with possible loan deals, a spell in the reserves or even a sale away from the club. All-in-all, the player interactions of FIFA Manager 13 appear to be one of the game's chief selling points.
