FIFA World Cup 2014: 10 Things It Does Better Than FIFA 14
5. More Realistic
The combination of all the new additions EA have added to the franchise result in a gameplay that is far more realistic than we've ever seen before. Both on and off the field, everything optimises what the World Cup is all about and gives us a very enjoyable experience which we may end up cherishing for years to come. On the field is where these improvements matter most, and it is here where the realism reaches a whole new level, combining to create an authentic football experience without the need to break out your boots. The responses from your players and the way the ball moves are the most obvious changes - as well as the best. The defining factor in the success of a football simulator will always be how realistic the game is but there is a very fine line to tread, as there's always a clear danger that the game may fall into the trap of being too realistic manner, losing the enjoyment factor and becoming a burden to play. This isn't the case with World Cup 2014, nor will it ever be an issue for the game.
