1. Sephiroth
Of course, our number one could be none other than Sephiroth, our main antagonist.
Arguably the most famous villain of the Final Fantasy series, and already featured in spin offs, we’ve seen Sephiroth in other guises throughout the years.
Like Jenova, we’re sure to see him in the first episode of Remake, but it’s likely we’ll have to wait until the Remake’s conclusion to relive those epic final battles.
Bizarro Sephiroth looked incredible, and if it includes the whole party like the original, could lead to some spectacular combinations as you flank Sephiroth from multiple angles.
Safer (Seraph) Sephiroth, the infamous one-winged angel that makes up the true final boss battle has even more potential.
Imagine him swooping in and out of the battlefield, unleashing devastating attacks, before moving back out of reach. How will his trademark Supernova attack work in the new battle system?
No matter what happens, this will be the battle all players will be desperate to see when the Final Fantasy 7 Remake finally releases its final chapter.
