3. Your Starter Weapons Become Some Of The Best In The Game
In a brilliant nod to old-school fans - or those that simply prefer things like the Buster Sword or Barret's chaingun over what you unlock along the way - you can totally upgrade starter weapons all the way through to credits.
I actually finished the game using the starter Buster Sword, by hopping into the Upgrade Weapons menu, and dumping 25 hours worth of accrued points into its expansive weapon cores.
Ultimately, use new weapons to learn their signature abilities, but many starting or earlier weapons actually become the best overall, once you start unlocking their later cores and stat boosts.
All you need to do is put the time in to making sure those cores have everything unlocked.
