As was the case with the most recent mainline entry in Square Enix's long running franchise, Final Fantasy XV, physical copies of the Final Fantasy VII Remake will give lucky punters in North America and Europe a choice of which artwork adorns the box.

The official Final Fantasy VII Remake Twitter account confirmed that Western editions of the game will have a snazzy reversible cover. On the obverse, there's a perfectly re-created shot of the original US PS1 sleeve, whilst the reverse features the same, sleek logo on black as the Japan version.

Ultimately, it just determines which image makes commune with the next game beginning with 'F' on your shelf (unless you don't alphabetise, like some sort of monster), but it's a nice little bonus nonetheless.
