In probably the least surprising entry on this list, Final Fantasy XV is shaping up to look mind-blowingly good. Ever since Final Fantasy VII blasted on the original PlayStation, the series has been something of a benchmark for each successive console generation, and it's looking like Final Fantasy XV will be no exception. The gameplay demo shown at this year's Tokyo Game Show was primarily geared to show off the amazing visuals. They're among the best yet for the PS4 and Xbox One, looking close to besting even the fully rendered CG feature film Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. The first half of the demo showcased the detailed character models, combined with the advanced lighting and shadows. In typical quirky Square Enix fashion, they also dedicated a good minute or so on rotating the camera around a stunningly realistic frog.
