Football Manager 2013: 10 Features We Want To See

7. Less Emphasis On Results For Financially Troubled Clubs

It annoys me greatly when I take over say, for example, Crewe Alexandra, who on the game might be in horrendous financial trouble, have a transfer embargo in place and everything, the whole shebang. Yet whenever you go on a poor run they just sack you in the blink of an eye. Clubs in the lower leagues these days are taking a more realistic approach of finding the right manager and then putting a long term plan in place to ensure that the club survives. There is little more annoying than getting sacked from a club and then seeing your successor get sacked 4 months later. Which leads me onto my next point quite nicely.
