In a similar way that Portsmouth fans, Rangers fans and even Darlington fans have done in the past, if your club is struggling financially, have the fans take a stand and do what they can to save the club. Have the head of the supporters clubs take donations to give the clubs, have fans organise rallies and fun days to help raise money. This should especially happen in the lower leagues where every penny counts.
