Football Manager 2014 Handheld: 12 Essential Signings You Must Make

11. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

AubemeyangClub: Dortmund Price: £8.5m Newcastle United attempted to sign the powerful striker in their summer of disappointment, before he opted to head to Dortmund and Champions League football, but in the world of FM 14 Handheld, he apparently doesn't become the asset Dortmund initially suspected, despite a major goal return in every game tested so far. He's not necessarily one to sign right away (unless you're willing to pay more like £17m for the privilege) but Dortmund will likely limit his chances to around 20 games (he picked up 16 goals in that time in the first season) and his value won't head too far north of £7m while in the German side's squad. Other clubs will attempt to fight you for the pacey striker, but you shouldn't be pushed up too close to the £10m, and even then, his stats, particularly for Shooting (20) and Pace (19) make him the perfect option for a 4,2,3,1 system with attacking wingers to supply him.
