1. Edinson Cavani (Paris Saint-Germain)
Another Football Manager game, another 20 finishing rating for Edinson Cavani. Why? It seems to me that someone at the top of the FM HQ has a soft-spot for the Manchester United target as putting him on par with Lionel Messi is like saying I can make soda bread on the same level as Paul Hollywood. Cavani scored 31 goals in 53 games last season and will undoubtedly get his maximum rating for finishing on Football Manager 16 but it seems undeserved. The Uruguayan striker is certainly not a bad player and his evaluation on FM15 of £35 million is fair but a slightly lower finishing score of 17 or 18 would be more accurate.
