2. Greater Depth To The Scouting System Overall

In FM 2018, skilled scouts are able to pin down player stats to within around five points of their actual ability. This is supposed to give a better indication of how well transfer targets will fit in at the club whilst also leaving some risk factor open. It doesn't leave too much uncertainty.

At the end of a scouting trip, you'll still only have one opinion to weigh up. It'd be a lot more engaging if multiple scouts could chip in and give different reports on a scouted player's talents. Then, scouting would become less about playing the waiting game and more about deciding who's right.

If SI want to get super-deep, they could also make this part of the Dynamics system.

Team Leaders might disagree on your signing policy, and jilted scouts disappointed you didn't take their advice would be less motivated the next time they're sent out to view a player. Again, it's difficult and perhaps too in-depth, but that kind of engrossing micromanagement is what FM's main mode is all about anyway.
