Football Manager 2020: 10 Best Short-Term Challenges While You're Home
8. Make Manchester United Great Again
They are arguably the greatest team in the history of English football, but ever since Sir Alex Ferguson left in 2011, Manchester United have fallen way behind the likes of Liverpool, and their 'noisy neighbours' Man City. While the legendary Scottish manager spent 26 years at Old Trafford, there have been four full time managers in the six since he left.
David Moyes didn't last a full year, Louis van Gaal bored the fans, Jose Mourinho won a couple of trophies but managed nothing spectacular, and with Ole at the wheel the progress has been minimal at best.
What Manchester United need is a solid, committed manager, who can build a stronger team than the current one within a couple of seasons. Could this be where you come in? Rake in the cash from the sale of Paul Pogba and strengthen your strike force, or stick with the Frenchman with the faith that he will come good eventually. Either way it's a tough task.
Seeing Manchester United in the Europa League simply isn't right. Whether you love them or hate them, they should be in the Champions League each and every year, and it's going to take the skill of a good manager to get them back where they belong.
