Football Manager 2020 Review: 6 Ups & 2 Downs
3.Updated Graphics
Regular players of the Football Manager franchise know that the allure of it has never been the in-game graphics. If you ever expected FIFA levels of graphics then you'll be sadly disappointed.
However, for those of us who appreciate the tiny little 3D sprites, running around on a pitch trying to execute your tactics, you'll be happy to know that Sports Interactive have added some really good animations to this year's version.
You can actively see your squad trying to park the bus against an extremely strong side or watch as they press opponents into exhaustion, forcing them to give up the ball. It's extremely satisfying seeing them display your footballing philosophy and see how it does against other teams.
There can always be improvements to the in-game graphics, especially on the defensive side of things. However, they've improved quite a bit since the last few editions and SI should be applauded for adding the animations that they have.
