Your team is a unit and needs to work together to achieve its goals (mainly scraping through 1–0 victories). Picking the right player based on attributes will be key.
Focus on Work Rate, Teamwork, Stamina and Natural Fitness for 'Legs’. Bravery, Aggression and Determination for 'Hearts’. Finally, Concentration, Composure and Anticipation for 'Minds’. This will be your blueprint when picking or scouting players.
Personality plays a part and you want your lads to fit into the overall Squad Personality. Look for the likes of Professional, Model Professional, Determined, Perfectionist or the golden goose that is Model Citizen.
