Football Manager 2022: 10 Brazilian Wonderkids You Must Sign
1. Vinicius Jr. (Real Madrid)
Probably the biggest, most recognisable name in this top ten, but Vini is much more than just a name.
After a rocky start in Madrid -- who could forget Karim Benzema's legendary "he plays against us" comment -- he looks to have finally kicked into gear. You could say that he is one Carlo Ancelotti's main men, along with Benzema.
When it comes to his Football Manager status, he has been one of the most coveted young players for two or three editions of the game now, and that remains unchanged this year. A player whose attributes needn't be discussed, Vinicius jr. is a true superstar, even at 20 years old. In that sense, it is a bit of a cop-out to even include him in this list.
His only drawback, if you can call it that, is that he is realistically only affordable to the game's biggest, richest clubs. You will hardly be able to get him if you are managing Freiburg and trying to knock Bayern off their perch; but if you're trying to build a Galacticos-style superteam, and you've got money in the bank, don't over-complicate it and go straight to Vini's agent to enquire about the young winger's services.
